I don’t remember learning how to walk nor do I remember learning how to draw but I have spent my life doing both. Starting in 2008 I walked three Pilgrimages in France, Spain and Portugal.The PILGRIMAGE drawings are playful, whimsical shapes with quirky complex structures. They are abstract emotional maps that connect my internal conversations and memories of the three walks.

In this exhibition, the seven artists of co-LAB-orate explore the nature of a single word reify. Reify is the act of thinking about an abstract concept or idea as a real or material thing. Each artist has chosen a word that engages with the root meaning of reify and reflects a personal interpretation of it.
